Bebo & chucho valdes, juntos para siempre

Bebo and Chucho (father and son), the two cuban piano players perform magical dialogues on Latin Jazz harmonies. The full album is available on Youtube. 

Juntos para siempre, (Together forever) evoques their story. In the 60's Bebo left Cuba for political reasons. Bebo and Chucho had to wait almost twenty years to finally see each other again. 

PRetty lights

For electronic music, my recommendation is Pretty Lights. The music has Hip Hop, Soul or Funk influences. This Dj from Colorado proves that electronic music can evolve, progress and regenerate.

Sergio santos, brazil

One of my favourites musicians this year is Sergio Santos. His music has african and brazilian influences both in the melodies and the lyrics, it and can transport the listener to the Northeast of Brazil, where the african population is located.

Two of his albums can be found in this blog, specialized in afrobrazilian music. 
 

Pat Metheny, playing guitar

Beautiful chords and a wide range of sensations arise when listening to this guitar player. Pat's music is great both for listening to it or for background.
